Why trainer-designed

Most gym designers have never coached a session.

01

Trainer-designed

The layout comes from how people move through a session, not from a showroom planogram.

02

Built for the building

Load, sound, access, boards, schedules. We design for the constraint before we design for the photograph.

03

Specified, not sold

Our fee schedule is published in full, and freight passes through at cost. You know how we get paid, so you know the recommendation is advice. See the numbers.

04

Used, not admired

Handover includes programming and coaching. The only real answer to "will I use this."

Francisco Liuzzi, founder

On the floor since 2004.

I have coached out of commercial gyms in Manhattan since 2004, and I still train clients five days a week. Twenty-two years of coaching is what the design work is built on.

The gym at Two Trees started it all. A client I had been training built a house with a gym in mind, and asked whether I could design a room that held up next to the rest of it. Design work has come almost entirely by referral since. We have built in New York, the Hamptons, Nantucket, Washington DC, North Carolina and California.

Clients

“In 2018, I entrusted Cisco to design a dream home gym in the Hamptons. Not only is it beautiful and has been published for its design, but it’s also highly functional and used daily. Cisco’s gym designs have since impressed five of my friends, who hired him to create their own.”

David Lawenda · 14 years training

“Francisco has built 3 home gyms for me. His unique combination of deep understanding of state of the art fitness equipment, commitment to personalized outcomes for each client, eye for attractive design and meticulous focus on delivery helps create a great, useful, beautiful home gym.”

Ken MehlmanThree home gyms

“We had a couple of issues with the equipment manufacturer and Cisco handled all of these for me seamlessly. I didn’t have to do anything about delivery or replacement parts; he handled everything. Best of all, now my entire family is using them regularly.”
